I have found some of the most amazing collaborators by going to my blog readers first so I wanted to announce here that we are looking for a new addition!!

I didn't hear the verdict on your house ... congrats!!!!!!!! I'm excited to see photos! :-)
At the end of the last month we did a glam session for two of my current wedding clients. Christie. who was married in July of this year and Lucy, who will be married in July of 2009. Both are great friends and part of the UK dental program. When I told Christie about the glam session idea she was so excited. She asked Lucy to join in and then two of their other friends (including Lucy's sister, Ginny).
Oh and I could not possibly forget. Makeup and hair done by the ever-amazing Ana Crane-Simpson. Unless absolutely impossible Ana does the makeup (and usually hair as well) for all of my Dreaming in the Dark sessions and Glam Sessions!
Look at those eyes!!

And a photo of Christie and Lucy together:
What an amazing idea! I love it!! And these are just stunning... LOVE the one of her in the white dress. Beautiful!

These are sooo beautiful!!!! Congrats love birds!!!
I LOVE them!!!!!!! I love the outfit coordination and the scenery! Great photos and what a great looking couple!
Munfordville, KY. This is where I traveled to take my couple getting married in January's photographs. Elizabeth and Adam's wedding is fast approaching so we got together and braved the cold weather to get some beautiful photographs of their engagement!
I love love Elizabeth and Adam. They are soooo cute together. And awesome.

For this set we went to downtown Munfordville.

Elizabeth, Adam and their beloved pup Lolli!

Lucyprobably one of the coolest things i have ever done!! get your friends together immediately and book one! p.s. oprah even endorsed photo sessions just like this on her show two days ago!!
Genius! Only you could come up with and pull this off. Total talent inside and out. Wish you the best of luck with this and a very happy birthday this weekend:)
What a fantastic, fun idea! I love it! Are these girls for real? They all look like drop-dead-gorgeous, Hollywood glam actresses! Nice job.
This month is the month for engagement sessions! Actually we have a lot scheduled in November too --- so both months truly are. Amy also has a number that she has been and will be posting!
When Brittany came in to the studio I thought she looked gorgeous. I remember thinking to myself that her makeup looked natural and flawless. I had no idea she had hired my girl, Ana Crane-Simpson, to do her makeup for the engagement session. I did not find that out until the next day when Ana was at my studio for a Glam Session (what are those? You will find out soon enough!!) the following day. Doing a makeup trial on your engagement session day is an excellent idea! Or just having makeup and hair done for your engagement session period is just a great idea.

Brittany, you are a DOLL!!! I love your pics... cannot wait till the BIG day :)
I absolutely love your work!! And this last shot is so stellar!!
Please give me just a few moments to bask in my own fortitude. I tell every photographer I am friends with that I am -- hands down -- the luckiest gal ever. Why you ask? Because our clients are incredible. They are intelligent, stylish, artistic, funny, gorgeous, oh I could go on and on. They seriously just shine. One of the best decisions I ever made in my business was to limit the number of clients I accepted each season. This has enabled me to get to know my clients even more. Friday I had dinner with Regan and Michael and I just walked away wishing it was already October of 2009! It was so much fun sitting at dinner at Varanese and talking wedding plans and photography. Regan is stunning, smart and knows exactly what she wants. And Michael is such a great fit for her. I cannot wait until their engagement session next year! Jacki Allen is planning their affair (wedding) and by the description it is going to be so unique and beautiful!

I have two things to say specifically: 1.) Way to work that garage door, and 2.) pearls + a field of wheat = divine.
Wow!! Just to think that these are MY KIDS and not professional models. A real couple that is expressing real joy, happiness, and love and not just posed photo's. I love you both so much!! Thank you too Angela for finding the right setting to capture the essence of these two remarkable young people. Wow!
