{ Kristian & Zac: Engagement! }

Kristian and Zac are a wonderful couple that will be getting married this summer in Nicholasville, Kentucky. They are oh-so-sweet and I just can't wait for the big day! Ana Crane-Simpson came in to the studio to do another awesome session with Kristian's hair and makeup. The first photo is of Kristian, Zac, and their totally cute Boxer, Bella (before she found out she could slip her head through her collar!) :)

I took Kristian and Zac down to Fourth Street Live for tons of incredible backdrops for a glamorous evening sequence. The rest of the photos were shot there.

The last two pictures were shot at the lovely Maker's Mark Bourbon House & Lounge.

Kristian & Zac are a really terrific couple and Kristian was such a trooper for rockin' this steamy little black and blue number in the bitter freezing cold. The wonderful Ana Crane-Simpson did Kristian's hair and makeup and this photo below was taken at the awesome Maker's Mark Bourbon House & Lounge. More to come soon...

{ Sarah & Phillip: Engagement! }

Sarah and Phillip are high-school sweethearts that will be getting married this May in Hopkinsville, KY. They traveled up to Louisville and had the unbelievably talented Ana Crane-Simpson do Sarah's hair and makeup. I had so much fun on this engagement shoot and I just can't wait to see how stunning Sarah will be on the wedding day! Here are some photos from their wonderful session:

Sarah and Phillip told me that they are both very avid readers and so what better place to take them to than a bookstore? The next several photos were taken at Carmichael's Bookstore on Bardstown Road in the Highlands.

The lady behind the counter was nice enough to let us take a book outside in front of the store to use for the photographs and so I started searching for the most romantic book I could find until Sarah exclaimed, "Oh, I know! Wait right here!" When she came back with the James Patterson thriller Double Cross needless to say I was slightly confused. Sarah then explained to me that she was in the middle of this particular book when Phillip proposed to her. I think she found just the perfect one to use!

I just love the elegance of this series of pictures taken at the swank L and N Wine Bar and Bistro.

I just adore Christy and Kevin! They are the epitome of awesomeness! You can just tell that they love each other so much and just can't wait until they get married this coming spring and neither can I. Here are some shots of this super-fun session!

{ Alyson & Ted: Engagement! }

Alyson and Ted are just the most amazingly sweet couple! They will be getting married this coming May in downtown Louisville and I can't wait! I had soooo much fun during the session with Alyson, Ted, and of course their two awesome pouches Bailey and Woodrow. I love that they decided to make their session personal by including their pups and shooting at their breath-taking family farm in Versailles.

Love this one...look at those eyes!

Could they be a better looking couple?

Ted really wanted to shoot next to this abandoned fireplace on the property. I think it was a great suggestion.

And the real stars of the show...Bailey is the beagle and Woodrow is the lab :)

{ Alyson & Ted: Teaser! }

Last weekend I drove out to Alyson and Ted's marvelous farm in Midway. The scenery was breathtaking and the couple stunning. Could they make my job any easier? Alyson and Ted are so sweet and they had their pups Bailey and Woodrow with us the whole time. Below is a photo from a garden they said we just had to shoot at, and I agree, it was gorgeous. I absolutely adore this shot.
