Megan & Patrick: Wedding Post 1!

Megan and Patrick are such a nice and fun couple that had such an outstanding New Years Day wedding.  They got married at Southland Christian Church with their reception at the marvelous Griffin Gate Marriott in Lexington, Kentucky.  You may remember them from their engagement and family sessions that I shot this past fall.  Megan and Patrick are so family-oriented that they had their son (Ryan), daughter (Avery), nephew (Gage), and niece (Kendra) involved in many aspects of the wedding.  The always remarkable Ana Crane-Simpson did Megan's hair and makeup and Jackie Lee from Every Last Detail Wedding & Event Consulting was the woman who made sure the whole day was picture-perfect.  :)  Below is a photo of Megan's sensational gown.  The lace in the dress was incorporated into the invitations, cake, menu cards, and programs.

Megan had so many terrific pieces of jewelry picked out for the big day that I couldn't resist but to photograph them all.  It was a very difficult last-minute decision but the amazing bracelet below made the cut.

I thought it was so sweet that Megan arranged for a fabulous Bentley to pick her and her dad up from her house to take them to the church together.

Patrick anxiously awaits his bride...

Megan and Patrick presented the surprise wedding gifts to the children during the ceremony.  There was not a dry eye in the house.

And of course a dazzling sparkler exit for the New Year.  I love it!
