Leah's dress had modern lines so we used bright jewelry and a colorful background to give her bridals a fun and whimsical edge.

Makeup: Ana Crane Simpson
Hair: Rodney Farmer

For Stacy's bridals we styled her hair big and wild to emphasize the big gathers in the back of the dress. I will admit that Stacy does have some modeling experience. I just love her photos! We were in downtown Louisville for these photos.

For Olivia's session we went with a fairy concept. I love the spot we found in the woods- it just looks magical! Ana did her makeup with various colors and shimmers and we even had a butterfly in her hair. We used a mini-moss bouquet and wove some of the extra moss into the necklace.

Dress: Alberto Makali from Bluegrass Bride
Makeup: Ana Crane Simpson
Hair: Rodney Farmer
Moss: Boston's Floral Exchange
Necklace (sans moss): Peacock Boutique

For Imelda's photos I went with a diamond theme. The dress embellishments, the necklace, the crystals adorning her cheekbones, makeup, and spiked hair came together for an dramatic exotic look.

Hair: Rodney Farmer
Makeup: Ana Crane Simpson
Dress: Kenneth Pool from Bluegrass Bride
Necklace: Peacock Boutique

Here are a few of my images from the bridal sessions at the Flourish Workshop. The gorgeous dresses are from Bluegrass Bride in Lexington. If you are looking for your wedding dress, bridesmaid dress, cocktail dress, or formal gown, you should check it out. Makeup was done by Ana Crane Simpson. I highly recommend hiring a makeup artist for your wedding day and any other photography sessions (bridals, engagement, lights out, etc). Even if you are usually good with makeup, makeup artists know the best makeup for photographs. Rodney Farmer did the hairstyling from Salon Figaro 859-489-8637. I think he did a great job too. I love doing bridal sessions! Email us at bliss@angela-photo.com if you are interested in scheduling your bridal session (even if it's after your wedding).
