{ Tony + Markus Engagements: by Amy! }

Tony and Markus are getting married in May of next year on a cruise. Since their wedding package comes with a photographer, I was grateful that they found me to do their engagement photographs! They live in Frankfort, but wanted a little more urban look so I found a few spots in Lexington.

Tony is from Louisville and Markus is from Lexington- a little friendly rivalry

Anna and Wesley will be getting married next August and were excited to do their engagement pictures this fall. They are smitten for each other as you'll see below. We went to a couple parks in Louisville and then the legendary Ear-x-tacy music store. Wesley loves music and even serenaded Anna with a few songs on his guitar-

{ Nenna + Jesse Engagements: by Amy! }

Nenna and Jesse are getting married next summer and wanted to do their engagement pictures this fall to capture some of the beautiful colors of Kentucky. Jesse is one of the owners of Hall's on the River restaurant in Winchester. We took photos at a local horse farm and around the restaurant. Hall's has been around for years and serves classic Kentucky fare. A great place to take your out of town guests! Nenna and Jesse were so wonderful and gave me dinner! The seafood hotbrown and beer cheese were fabulous!!

Ana Crane Simpson did a great job on Nenna's makeup. Here are a few of my favorites:

Alex and Miah are getting married this weekend and a couple weeks ago we got together to do a really HOT engagement session! They are both glass blowers so we started off the session with them blowing a piece together. Making a beautiful piece of art from basically nothing- very romantic, wouldn't you agree?

{ Jessica + Dustin Engagements: Amy! }

Jessica and Dustin are getting married in September in Nashville, TN at Historic Cedarwood. They live in one of the cutest neighborhood's in Cincinnati, OH where there are houses painted many different colors. We started with going to a couple parks in the area then headed downtown. The rain was off and on and you can see how some of the wet streets made the pictures even more colorful. Then we found some really neat graffiti -

Jessica and Dustin are a blast and I cannot wait for their wedding!!

{ Lori + Herb Engagements: AMY! }

Lori and Herb are getting married next month in Louisville. For their engagement session, we went around downtown Louisville and shot some in the studio. Lori and Herb have such opposite personalities! Lori is ultra fun personality and Herb is so laid back. It was great hanging out with the two of them and capturing their interaction. Lori did an awesome job picking out coordinating outfits for the two of them, they matched perfectly with the settings!

{ Tara and Ashton Mr & Mrs Session: Amy! }

Tara and Ashton were so easy going and up for anything for their Mr & Mrs portrait session. Mr & Mrs sessions are fun because couples are usually very relaxed with each other. I also got to take some photos of their dog Zissou's first trip to downtown Louisville.

Tiffany and Drew are getting married on 6-7-08, the most popular date of the year for weddings! I really enjoyed getting to know them during their engagement session this past weekend. During our first meeting, they mentioned they met each other through purchasing one of their dogs. Drew mentioned he also shows some of his dogs, so I suggested for them to bring their dogs along for a few shots. We had a great time!

I came along for fun to Dena and Scott's Engagement Shoot in Louisville. Here are a few of my favorites. I smiled when I saw that Angela used the Fine Frenzy song "You Picked Me" for their slideshow because I listen to that album a lot when I am editing images. I love her voice and her fresh sound.
