Mike and Samantha are getting married in October and for their engagement session they wanted to do something a little different. For the first two looks Samantha wore white dresses to make it more bridal. She even brought a little bouquet. We started with a picnic in the park, went to an awesome Bed and Breakfast called the Inn at the Park (where they are staying the night of their wedding), then did some downtown photos at nightfall.

Candace and Neil are getting married this fall in Louisville. For their engagement session, they really wanted to get creative with their locations. We started in the studio. Then Lauren Chitwood, a fantastic wedding & event planner of Lauren Chitwood Events was able to meet us and allow us to photograph at the gorgeous Greystone Estate located on the Ohio River for some beautiful outdoor photos. Neil has Churchill Downs connections granting us VIP access and some dramatic evening photos with the twin spires in the distance!

Candace's different hair and makeup looks were created by the amazing Ana Crane-Simpson.

Then to Greystone Estate . .

Now to Churchill Downs . .

It was so much fun meeting Andrea and John in Cincinnati and photographing their engagement session! You can tell they are just blissfully in love! I'm really looking forward to their wedding in October at the gorgeous Historic Cedarwood in Nashville.

Andrea's hair is by one of my favorites past brides who happens to be an awesome hair stylist at Pump Salon in Cincinnati, Jessica Flowers.

Bria and Jimmy are getting married this fall in Louisville. They have been dating several years and actually met in high school. Jimmy still wears proudly his Trinity Football Championship ring on his keychain :) Such a sweet couple and Ana Crane-Simpson did a beautiful job with Bria's hair and makeup.

Laura and Geoff are from Bowling Green, KY. If you are a blog fan from that part of Kentucky, you may recognize Laura from the morning and midday show of WBKO TV. Geoff is part of the National Guard and a Police Officer. Before the session, Laura warned me that Geoff may be a little camera shy- as most guys are :) But he surprised both of us and was very into it. I had a great time getting to know them both. Lindsey and Skyler are getting married this July in Lexington. Such a sweet couple. Skyler didn't even complain about missing the UK game :) ha ha. Lindsey's a lucky girl :)

Lauren and Jeremy are both from Lexington and moved to North Carolina about the same time and actually worked in the same building but they didn't know each other. A friend said they should meet up because they are both from Lexington and the rest is history..

This is the spot where Jeremy proposed to Lauren :) They were at Keeneland tailgating and he took her to a breakfast table he had set up on the lawn . . .

Grace Ann and Matthew will be married in Nashville next June. They both grew up in Nashville and had so many sentimental places picked out for their engagement session. The first is where they met: University School. It is located right across from Vanderbilt campus and they used to eat lunch together on the edge of the campus. So cute :)

Grace Ann and Matthew are so sweet and I am thrilled to have them as clients!
