Lauren and Jeremy are both from Lexington and moved to North Carolina about the same time and actually worked in the same building but they didn't know each other. A friend said they should meet up because they are both from Lexington and the rest is history..

This is the spot where Jeremy proposed to Lauren :) They were at Keeneland tailgating and he took her to a breakfast table he had set up on the lawn . . .

Grace Ann and Matthew will be married in Nashville next June. They both grew up in Nashville and had so many sentimental places picked out for their engagement session. The first is where they met: University School. It is located right across from Vanderbilt campus and they used to eat lunch together on the edge of the campus. So cute :)

Grace Ann and Matthew are so sweet and I am thrilled to have them as clients!

Crockett is a classic cowboy- almost straight from the movie. He even trains horses for a living. A cowboy hat and boots are a regular accessory. Misty is so sweet with southern charm. I look forward to their wedding next summer!

Ana Crane Simpson did hair and makeup for Misty and came along with us for the different looks.

Lisa and Trent live in Cincinnati and are getting married next year. I love to photograph in different cities and thought it would be great to photograph their engagement session there too. I have to mention that Lisa and Trent were high school sweethearts! Lisa is an awesome hairstylist at Pump Salon in Cincy and was referred to me by one of my favorite brides, Jessica, from last year. Jessica told me Lisa was gorgeous and her skin was flawless and I totally agree!

For locations in Cincy, Trent did his homework and drove around a few hours the day before looking for spots. I love it when the guys get involved. He did a great job!

I knew Jenilee and Nathan were a very creative couple from some of the first emails she sent me. Jenilee was up for anything for her engagement session- so we went with three very different looks- punk, natural, and classic romantic. We even had some fun with signs that they made! I am very much looking forward to their wedding this spring-

Coady and Bryce are getting married next September in Lexington and they live in Chicago. When we were thinking about where to shoot their engagement session, I offered to go to Chicago and they agreed that would be the best place. They got me a room at the beautiful W Hotel in Chicago. We started the session there in the lobby and it was so busy there all day and was a bit of a challenge to find an open seat! Then we ran around the city in about six taxi rides going to some awesome spots Coady and Bryce had picked out.

I am so excited to have such awesome clients and had a hard time narrowing down my favorites...
