Brittany and Joe's wedding was a perfect holiday wedding. Christmas trees, white lights, beautiful white tree branches. It was really a stunning event. Brittany and her family are such wonderful people. Her mom, Theresa is so sweet, I just think she is the bee's knees. Her dad is awesome too, and you can see how much she is the apple of his eye. Her brother, Kyle, I photographed his senior photos just a few weeks back. They are just all such a great family and it is obvious they are well loved by their hometown of Booneville -- I think about 70% of the town was in attendance!
I also liked Joe a lot. He is the quiet type, I think a good fit for Brittany. You can tell he has a good sense of humor though and a very good attitude. And when the two of them saw each other for the first time on the wedding day I could definitely feel their connection was strong.
One thing I really love about Brittany is her laugh. She is quick to laugh and smile and her laugh is almost like a giggle and well, I don't know enough people these days that giggle. I loved it.
Again, AAP has the best clients. The absolute best.

The boys got ready in a gym locker room -- a shot of basketballs by Amy seemed only natural to be included. ;)

Andrea Glass of
Boston's Floral Couture in Louisville did the amazing decor and flowers (and lighting). She is so talented!

I loved how well the guestbook fit it. It was -- as always -- a great hit!

Again Andrea does a fantastic job with the flowers. I loved Joe's boutonniere.

Brittany chose two dresses and then could not decide which to wear. So she made -- I think -- the best decision possible -- one for the ceremony and one for the reception. I loved the details on this dress. It was my favorite of the two.

I had to show you the second dress, also really beautiful. It looked amazing on Brittany.

Back to the first dress and the getting ready...

I loved this backdrop. It was soooooo cold. It was so awesome of them to brave the cold for photographs! At one point I could no longer feel my fingers and could barely tell if I was tripping the shutter or not.

Brittany was absolutely stunning! I love her gorgeous almond eyes and the fantastic smokey makeup by the lovely & always talented
Ana Crane-Simpson. And her hair was out of this world. The ringlets were so romantic and gorgeous, I just died when I saw her look all finished. BY the way -- Rodney did her hair. Rodney is essentially unreachable (I know!) but Ana books his dates for him so give her a ring if you want to use Rodney's amazing talent for your wedding.

This is the backdrop Brittany and Joe were married in front of. Again, Andrea with Boston's. Really magical.

More detailsof the backdrop. It reminded me a little bit of the Lion, the Witch and Wardrobe movie.

Brittany's dad taking her up the aisle. Such a beautiful scene!

I love the shot from behind when daughter and dad walk up the aisle. It gives you the coveted back of dress image and also this one shows off her amazing veil and the wonderfully beautiful scene she has before her as she walked down to be married!

The shot above captured by Amy.

During the ceremony the Christmas story was told. The guests each lit a personal candle during the story. It was really touching.

The remarkable cake. The cake was brought in by
Maribelle from Cincinnati. This picture shows the details but does not do the stature of the cake enough justice. It was quite magnificent.

A bridesmaid bouquet found on the floor after the ceremony.

I really like this image because it is Brittany and her two grandmothers. I think her grandmothr is showing her a watch she is wearing but I just love how their hands are holding one anothers.
