Years later we will refer to this post as "The Great Shoe Entry of 2009". Shoes are a big deal to me. Shoes never betray you when you come back from vacation 10 pounds heavier (yeah, just happened to me, ugh). Shoes never shrink in the wash when you could have sworn that skirt was not dry clean only! And shoes are beautiful. And they are there everytime you look down, looking back at you, being awesome.

Ok, so I like shoes. But mainly when they have personality. And luckily as more time passes the fashion world seems to be going bolder with the shoe designs and mainly I just love design, in all forms.

So I thought I would post some recent favorites. Some are reasonable, some may not seem so. But going bold makes you feel incredible.

This post is for all my clients who ask me where to find great shoes for the wedding day. I hope this helps you gals!

Fabulous shoes I found at Piperlime:

Picture 77.pngFlirty but relatively daring while still remaining cute. This is a favorite Paired with some powder pink accessories - gorgeous.
Picture 78.pngThis shoe reminds me of a shoe my mother, were she my age, would absolutely own. It has the attitude of animal skin but the hot femininity of a red rose.

A little bit more predictable in the bold category, patent fuschia heels, but maybe a good choice for bridesmaids. Provided that they appreciate the art of a 4 inch heel.

Picture 80.pngI just envision these shoes for the bride of a purely B&W wedding. The dress, though, would need to make sense with these shoes. This is a stament that could just be a mess if played incorrectly. ;) But these shoes are from Giuseppe Zanotti, who makes the most incredible pieces of shoe-art I have seen in awhile!

From Nordstrom:

Picture 81.pngNow LAMB is usually hit or miss with me (typically miss) but these shoes, being the slightest off-white have attitude and I think would look spectacular on the wearer!

Picture 82.pngI really like these for bridesmaids and also the ones below:

Picture 84.pngThese Stuart Weitzman make me think you could click your heels together and go to any honeymoon spot on the planet. That and wow, they are beautiful!!

From Saks:

Picture 85.pngWhoever buys these Christian Louboutains I will likely propose to myself! ;) And the matching bag is a need to have.

Picture 87.png
Picture 88.pngI will admit I got a little teary eyes when I say these. The color is remarkable. Who cares what on earth you wear with it, anything you pair with these shoes are absolutely moot.

I promised bold and I am not stopping here. Roger Vivier Shoes, Oh My.

More Louboutain - Galaxy Pump (Net-a-porter)

At Bluefly (one of my favorite places to "shop")

Picture 93.pngI love these. So 50s glam. (Zanotti again)

Which ones do you like best??
