Hello World! 👋
Welcome to my blog! I’m Hyunjoo, and this is my very first post here. I’m excited to finally have a space where I can share my thoughts, experiences, and learnings in the world of frontend development.
Who Am I?
I’m a frontend developer passionate about creating clean, maintainable, and user-friendly applications. My journey in tech has taken me through various companies and projects, each teaching me valuable lessons about code quality, team collaboration, and the importance of writing code that others (and future me) can easily understand and modify.
Why I Started This Blog
In this era where AI is rapidly emerging and transforming the tech landscape, I’ve come to realize that survival in this industry requires building a solid engineering foundation. The rise of AI tools and automation has made me reflect on what truly matters for engineers - not just writing code that works, but understanding the fundamental principles that make us irreplaceable.
This realization has sparked two important decisions in my journey:
Strengthening Engineering Fundamentals: While AI can generate code, the ability to design systems, make architectural decisions, understand trade-offs, and write maintainable code that stands the test of time remains uniquely human. I want to deepen my understanding of these core engineering principles.
Embracing English as a Learning Tool: The best resources, documentation, and global conversations in tech happen in English. I’ve decided to challenge myself by writing this blog in English - not only to improve my language skills but also to connect with a broader community of developers worldwide.
This blog represents both goals: documenting my engineering journey while practicing English communication. It’s my way of staying relevant and growing in an AI-driven world.
Let’s Connect
I’d love to hear from you! Whether you have questions about anything I write, want to share your own experiences, or just want to connect, feel free to reach out.
Thank you for taking the time to read this first post. I’m looking forward to sharing this journey with you and hopefully providing value through the content I create here.
Until next time, happy coding! 🚀
